Growing up in a large family on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia, I treasure memories of long evenings spent around the family table, sharing meals and stories. I have come to appreciate the ability of a glass of wine, when enjoyed with food, to allow an atmosphere of convivial communication to emerge among friends and family — the desire to sit and linger together, despite our current fast-paced lifestyles.
